How long have you been in business?
Almost 30 years in the same builing and type of business, but we've been Mufflers Brakes and More since 1990.
What is your primary product or service?
Exhaust system repair, replacement, design and installation, along with brake service, shock service, cv axles, springs, and roadmast active suspension systems. Altogether, what you'd call undercar service.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Started out as an installer and when the oppurtunity came along to own the business, my brothers and I took it.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Well, we're family for one thing, and small, not a big franchise that has to crank out a large volume every day. We take time with our customers, before during and after the service we provide. We know many of our clientelle by their first names and a good few are the sons and grandsons of people our philosophy, honesty and expertise have won over years ago. Also of course, the crew (my brothers and I) are all ASE certified brake mechanics, and veteran pipe benders and welders.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Just the one. We're not looking to start an empire, just survive as a family business. No small feat in today's economic climate. We realize we're swimming against the tide, but we believe our customers prefer it that way.

We're on Okeechobee Blvd. about 1/4 mile west of Congress Ave., and on the South side of the street. You can reach Okeechobee Blvd. by the turnpike which is west of us, or I-95 which is east of us or by any number of streets. If you need directions from a specific location, we'd be happy to talk you through it, just call.
What type of payments do you accept?
Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover, Debit cards, and Cash. Sorry but we do not take checks at this time.
Which areas do you service?
Anyone who thinks we're worth the drive. Most of our customers are from West Palm Beach, Palm Beach, Royal Palm Beach, Wellington, but we also have customers from Lake Worth, Lake Park, Jupiter.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
WE DO. That is my brothers and I are owner/operators. When I said Family Business, I meant it. We have no employees outside of the family.
What are your hours of operation?
We're open Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (later if need be), and Saturday's from 8:00 AM - 4 PM.
